I am a composer and general noise-maker from Ohio (now living in San Francisco), drawing upon elements of American folklore, genealogy, art education, children’s theater, improvisation, digital media and everything in between to make music (and sometimes other odds and ends) for myself and the people around me, whether it be writing for the concert hall, recording tunes on my own, or collaborating with other artists.

I also work as an elementary school music teacher, where I have been curating collaborative projects between students in the Bay Area and professional musicians to produce original works that allow young creative minds to learn, explore and directly impact the new music community.

I have been lucky enough to work with a ton of incredible artists including Kronos Quartet, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the Central Ohio Symphony, concert:nova + the Cincinnati Ballet, and many up-and-coming groups in the Bay Area, including the Mobius Trio, Friction Quartet, Nonsemble 6, the Living Earth Show, New Keys, and others. for a CV or
