DRAWN TOGETHER: A Community Sound Sketchbook

Ongoing video score project in collaboration with the Chicago Composers Orchestra

DRAWN TOGETHER was conceived as a remote music-making strategy rooted in animated scores. Eight composers created short, looping graphic scores that were scored live by musicians of the Chicago Composers Orchestra, with members of the community being invited to submit their own interpretations of the scores through audio recordings as well. A collage incorporating all the scores and sounds submitted was made by me in addition to weekly presentations of individual scores.
